There’s a new kid on the block. Or, more accurately, in the pond.
I came home yesterday and could see something swimming in the pond. It was swimming pretty fast, back and forth. I didn’t know what it was, but I knew what it wasn’t. It wasn’t a dog, cat, turtle, snake or duck.
It was a beaver.
Bruce said that he also saw it and watched it for a little bit. When it splashed its tail, that’s when he knew it was a beaver.
How in the world did that beaver get here? We have ponds, yes, but they are isolated ponds. Not connected to other bodies of water. It’s a mystery . . .
