On Friday morning, about 5:30, I saw an owl on the fence post just across from the entrance to our driveway.
I’d look up the owl in my Smithsonian bird book, but the book is missing one section. The owl section.
On Sunday I saw a roadrunner. We had roadrunners for the first time last year. They nested in our white Lady Banks rose bush.
The swallows are starting to return. They are so graceful, swooping up and down.
The wasps are active as well. Two new nests are just outside our front door. It’s always something.
